Vista Verde is a CapitaLand development of four 35-storey towers and 1,152 apartments at 2 Phan Văn Đáng in Thạnh Mỹ Lợi, District 2, finished in 2017. Its name is Spanish for ‘green view’: the grounds are heavily planted, many homes look over the Saigon River and the Phú Mỹ Bridge, and a shopping street, Faifo Lane, runs along the ground floor.

Inside Vista Verde

Getting there

• By road, about 9 km to Bến Thành Market (10 to 15 minutes) and 16 km to Tân Sơn Nhất Airport (15 to 20 minutes), with no traffic.
• CapitaLand puts the towers 10 minutes by car from District 1 and District 7.
• Metro Line 1 does not reach Thạnh Mỹ Lợi; its stations are along Võ Nguyên Giáp, several kilometres to the north. A city bus stop named for Vista Verde is on Trương Văn Bang, beside the towers.

Good to know

• Feliz en Vista, CapitaLand’s later development at 1 Phan Văn Đáng, is next door. Check which one a listing means; both use ‘Vista’ in the name, and so does The Vista in An Phú, an older CapitaLand development.
• Apartments were designed with a loggia (a covered balcony) and natural ventilation.
