What we collect when you contact us or apply for a job, why we use it, who else sees it, and how to get it changed or deleted.
Last updated 5 September 2026.
The short version. We use what you send us to answer you and to arrange viewings, and for nothing else unless you separately ask us to. We do not sell it. The only measurement on this site is Google Analytics, it does not run until you accept it, and you can change that answer at any time on this page. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing leslie@nestliving.vn, and we will action it within 15 days.
If you have applied for a job with us, your application and your CV are handled differently from an enquiry about a home, and they have their own section below: If you apply for a job with us.

Email is the fastest way to reach us about anything on this page, and it is the address every request below should go to.
What we collect
We collect what you type into a form on this site, and any file you attach to one, and nothing else about you from anywhere else. Which fields those are depends on the form:
- Asking about a home or booking a viewing. Your name, email address, phone number, the home you asked about, the date you would like, and any message you write.
- Asking about relocation or concierge services. Your name, email address, which services you are interested in, where you are moving from, your target date, your budget range, and any message you write.
- Listing a property with us. Your name, phone number, email address, and the details of the property: its type, address, size, rent and lease terms. If you have several, the company name and how many.
- Partnering with us. Your business name and category, your name, email address, phone number, the area you cover, and any message you write.
- Signing up for our newsletter. Your email address.
- Applying for a job with us. Your name, email address and phone number, your answers to the questions asked on that job, anything you write in the message box, and the CV and any other files you attach. There is more below, under If you apply for a job with us.
We also record the address of the page you sent the form from, so we know which home or which service you meant. Your IP address is checked at the moment you press send, to stop automated submissions flooding the form. It is not stored with your enquiry. It does appear in our host's ordinary server logs, as it does with every website you visit.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, anything sensitive: no identity document numbers, no health information, no financial account details. Please do not send them in a message.
Why we use it, purpose by purpose
Each of these is a separate purpose. Consenting to one is not consenting to another.
- To answer your enquiry. A member of our team reads what you sent and replies by email, phone, WhatsApp or Zalo, whichever you gave us.
- To arrange and run a viewing. This can include telling the owner or manager of that home that someone is coming, and when.
- To send you homes that match what you asked for, while your enquiry is open. This is part of answering you, not marketing, and it stops when your enquiry does.
- To send you our newsletter, if you signed up for it. That is a separate decision you make yourself. We do not tick that box for you, we never add an address to it because it reached us through another form, and every newsletter carries a way out of it.
- To consider you for a job you applied for. Weighing what you sent against that job, and contacting you about it. That purpose is the job you applied for and nothing wider: applying is not permission to market to you, and it does not put you on our newsletter.
- To keep the site working and honest. Blocking automated submissions, finding errors, and keeping a record of what we did with an enquiry so we can answer you if you ask us later.
We do not use your information to build a profile of you, we do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for anyone else's advertising.
Who else sees it
Inside Nest, only the staff working on your enquiry. Outside Nest, two sorts of recipient:
The owner or manager of a home you asked about, where arranging a viewing or answering your question needs it. We give them what they need for that and no more.
The companies that run the site for us. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. All 5 are outside Vietnam, so sending your information to them is a cross-border transfer, and that is why they are named here with their countries rather than described as "our service providers":
- Vercel, United States
- Hosts this website. Like any web host it keeps standard server logs, which record the IP address and browser of each request. It also stores the CV you attach to a job application, in a private store that does not serve the file to anyone who has the address.
- Neon, United States
- Runs the database your enquiry is stored in.
- Resend, United States
- Delivers the emails: the one that tells our team about your enquiry, the confirmation we send you, and the one that tells the person hiring that you have applied for a job.
- Clerk, United States
- Signs our staff in to the system that handles your enquiry. If we switch on renter accounts, it will sign you in too.
- Google, United States
- Runs Google Analytics, which counts visits and tells us which pages and contact buttons are used. It receives nothing unless you accept it, and it is not loaded at all until you do.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to data brokers or advertising networks. If we are ever legally required to hand something over, we will do so only to the extent the law requires.
If you apply for a job with us
Applying for a job is not the same as asking about a home, and what you send is handled differently, so it has a section of its own. Everything below is about an application you send us for a job.
There are two ways to apply, and this section covers both. Every job on our careers pages now carries an application form. You can also simply email us, at leslie@nestliving.vn. What we do with what you send is the same either way, except where a sentence below says otherwise.
What we collect. The form asks for your name, your email address, your phone number if you want to give us one, your answers to the questions asked on that job, anything you write in the message box, and your CV if you attach one. Your phone number, your message and your CV are optional and the form will send without them. We also keep the wording of the job as it stood on the day you applied, so that a listing edited afterwards cannot quietly change what you applied for, and the moment you ticked the box agreeing to this privacy notice.
What we do not ask for, and will not accept. We do not ask your date of birth, your age, your sex, whether you are married, whether you are pregnant, your photograph, your height or weight, where you are registered as living, your religion, your ethnicity or anything about your health. Those things have no bearing on whether you can do the job, and Vietnamese law is explicit that an employer collects only what the work requires. If you put any of it in your CV or your message we do not use it, but the simplest course is not to send it.
If you email us instead of using the form, we hold your message and whatever you chose to put in it, which is usually your name, your email address, your CV and what you wrote.
Why we use it. To consider you for the job you applied for, and to contact you about it. That is the whole of it. Applying is not permission to market to you: we do not add you to our newsletter because you applied, and we do not use your application to sell you anything.
Who sees it. The member of our team named on that job as its administrator, and anyone else nominated to receive applications for that particular job. Not the whole company. Opening an application is limited to the people responsible for hiring, and it is not something every member of staff can do.
Other colleagues can be set up to be told when an application arrives, so that nobody has to sit watching an inbox. That message carries the job title and a reference number, and no personal details at all: no name, no contact details, no answers and no files. It is a nudge to go and look, not a copy of what you sent.
If nobody has been nominated for a job, the message goes to leslie@nestliving.vn, which is a mailbox we read. Your application does not sit unnoticed because an internal setting was left blank.
Your CV. A CV attached to the form is stored privately by Vercel, who already run this website and are named below. Private means what it says: the address of the file is not a web page anybody can open, and a person who somehow guessed it would still be refused. It is never sent out as an email attachment, its address is never put in an email and never written into a log, and the people who need to read it open it inside our own system. A CV you email us instead stays in the mailbox you sent it to.
How long we keep it. Until the job is decided. If we do not offer you the job, we delete your application and the files you sent with it. We do not keep it on file, we do not hold it against a job we might advertise later, and there is no period after which it is deleted, because it is not kept for a period at all. That is what the law here requires of us and it is also what we would want done with ours. If you would like it gone sooner, email leslie@nestliving.vn, say which job you applied for, and we will action it within 15 days.
Changing your mind. You can withdraw an application at any time and you do not have to give a reason. Email us, quote the reference the form gave you, and we will withdraw it and delete the file you sent. We do this within 15 days and usually the same day.
We do not yet send you an email when your application arrives, so there is no one-press withdrawal link. We are saying so rather than describing a link that does not exist: the mailbox above is the route that works today, and it is the one to use.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site runs one analytics tool, Google Analytics 4, and it does not run until you accept it. There is no Google Tag Manager, no Meta pixel, no advertising pixel and no session-recording tool on any page of it. That is a statement about the site as it stands today, and it is checked in the code rather than remembered.
Until you accept, the Google Analytics tag is not placed on the page at all. It is not loaded and then held back: the code that would load it is not rendered, so your browser makes no request to Google and Google is told nothing, not even that you were here. If you decline, the same remains true and we do not ask you again.
If you accept, Google Analytics counts your visit and records which pages you look at, which of the WhatsApp, Zalo and phone buttons you press, and whether you sent an enquiry. It is never sent your name, your email address, your phone number or anything you typed into a form. Google Analytics sets its own cookies on your device, and Google receives the data in the United States.
What the site stores on your device to make it work is separate and is not analytics: the homes you save are kept in your browser on that device so your shortlist survives a reload, your currency choice is remembered the same way, your answer to the question below is remembered so you are not asked twice, and if renter sign-in is switched on, signing in will set a session cookie. None of these follow you to other websites.
You can change your answer here at any time, without giving a reason, and it takes effect immediately rather than in 15 days. Declining after having accepted stops the tag loading from that moment on; it cannot reach back and undo counts already recorded, and to have those deleted as well, email us and we will action it within 15 days.
How long we keep it
While your enquiry is open, and for 24 months after we last hear from you. After that we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you, keeping only counts that tell us how the business is going.
A job application, and the CV and any other files sent with it, we keep only until that job is decided. If we do not offer you the job we delete them. If you withdraw the application we delete them then instead, without waiting for the job to be decided.
If you signed up for the newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, along with the record of when and how you signed up. If you ask us to delete everything sooner, we will, and that request overrides the periods above.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy of it;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete it;
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or stop using it altogether;
- withdraw a consent you gave us, at any time, without giving a reason.
How. Email leslie@nestliving.vn and say which of the above you want. Include the email address or phone number you used when you contacted us, so we can find the right record. You do not need to use any particular form of words.
What happens then. We will confirm we have received it, and we action a withdrawal of consent within 15 days. Withdrawing does not undo what was already done while the consent stood, and it may mean we can no longer help with an enquiry that is still open. We will tell you if that is the case rather than leaving you waiting.
If you are not happy with how we have handled a request, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the relevant authority in your country.
Children
This site is meant for adults renting a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
When we change this notice we change the date at the top, and if the change affects what we do with information we already hold, we will say so here rather than quietly rewriting it. This notice is in English today; a Vietnamese version is being prepared.
