Lumière Riverside is a pair of apartment towers by Masterise Homes on Võ Nguyên Giáp (the former Xa lộ Hà Nội) in An Phú, District 2, across the road from Thảo Điền, with more than 1,000 apartments on a site of about 1.9 hectares. Its facades are hung with planted terraces in what the developer calls a ‘Leafscape’ design, and it was handed over in December 2023.

People who want a newer building in An Phú, across Võ Nguyên Giáp from Thảo Điền, with a large pool, tennis and gardens inside the gate, and Metro Line 1 along the road outside for the trip into District 1.

• LUMIÈRE East: One of the two apartment towers, with hanging gardens on its facade.
• LUMIÈRE West: The second apartment tower; the pair are 36 and 44 storeys tall.

• Sport: A 50-metre infinity pool looking towards the city, a gym garden, a yoga garden and a tennis court.
• Parks and water: Planted gardens inside the site and hanging gardens on both towers, with a barbecue garden.
• Shopping: More than 9,500 square metres of shops and services in the towers’ podium. Vincom Mega Mall Thảo Điền is further west on the same road.

• Transport: Metro Line 1 runs along the road outside; the nearest stations are An Phú and Rạch Chiếc.

Getting there

• By road, about 8 km to Bến Thành Market (10 to 15 minutes) and 12 km to Tân Sơn Nhất Airport (15 to 20 minutes), with no traffic.
• Metro Line 1, open since 22 December 2024, runs past the towers on Võ Nguyên Giáp. An Phú station, to the west, and Rạch Chiếc, to the east, are the nearest; trains run through Thảo Điền and the Opera House to Bến Thành in District 1.
• By road the towers face Võ Nguyên Giáp, which runs from Saigon Bridge to the Thủ Đức intersection and was called Xa lộ Hà Nội until August 2023.

• Masterise uses the LUMIÈRE name for other developments too, including several in Hanoi, so check that a listing says Riverside.
• Older listings give the address as 259 Xa lộ Hà Nội; the road was renamed Võ Nguyên Giáp in August 2023.
