Renting in Vinhomes Central Park

Vinhomes Central Park is a 43.91-hectare development on the old Tân Cảng port site in Bình Thạnh, with more than a kilometre of frontage on the Saigon River. Its apartment towers are grouped as The Central, The Park and The Landmark, with riverside villas, a 14-hectare park and Landmark 81, the tallest building in Vietnam, at its centre.

Families who want a hospital, a Vinschool campus, a large riverside park and a metro station at its northern edge, and people working in District 1 who want a short trip downtown.

Inside Vinhomes Central Park

• The Central: Three towers, Central 1 to Central 3, among the first finished in 2016.
• The Park: Seven towers, Park 1 to Park 7, set beside the riverside park, with outdoor pools between the buildings.
• The Landmark: Landmark 1 to Landmark 6, grouped around Landmark 81 at the heart of the development and finished in 2017.
• Landmark Plus: A 38-floor building completed in 2016, separate from Landmark 81 despite the similar name.
• Landmark 81: The 81-floor tower at the centre, with homes on floors 6 to 46 above the Vincom Center Landmark 81 mall.
• The Villas: Detached and semi-detached villas along the river.

Schools, health and shopping

• Healthcare: Vinmec Central Park International Hospital is inside the development and runs a 24-hour emergency service, with English spoken.
• Schools: Vinschool Central Park, a Vinschool campus, is at 720A Điện Biên Phủ, inside the development.
• Shopping: Vincom Center Landmark 81, about 59,000 square metres in the base of Landmark 81 and its first basement, has a cinema and an indoor ice rink.
• Parks and water: The 14-hectare riverside park, inspired by New York’s Central Park, has lawns, a Japanese-style garden, koi ponds, fountains, a children’s playground and a picnic area.
• Sport: The development has a gym, tennis courts and swimming pools, and The Park’s towers share outdoor pools between the buildings.
• Transport: Metro Line 1’s Tân Cảng station serves the development, and Văn Thánh Park station is one stop towards downtown.

Getting there

• By road, about 5 km to Bến Thành Market (5 to 10 minutes) and 10 km to Tân Sơn Nhất Airport (10 to 15 minutes), with no traffic.
• Metro Line 1, open since 22 December 2024, stops at Tân Cảng and Văn Thánh Park in Bình Thạnh and runs underground through Ba Son and the Opera House to Bến Thành.
• Saigon Bridge, just north of Landmark 81, crosses the river to Thảo Điền and the rest of District 2.
• The main entrances are on Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh and Điện Biên Phủ (Landmark 81 is at 720A Điện Biên Phủ), both of which lead towards District 1.

Good to know

• Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh, the road along the development’s western side, has a long history of flooding in heavy rain: Tuổi Trẻ called it one of the city’s worst-flooded areas in 2018 when its repair was approved, and VietNamNet still reported deep water under the Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh overpass in June 2020.
• Several buildings share similar names: Landmark 1 to Landmark 6 and Landmark Plus are separate towers from Landmark 81, so check the exact building on a listing.
• In December 2017 Vingroup began offering serviced apartments in Landmark 4, Landmark 5 and Landmark Plus, so some homes in those towers may come with hotel-style services.
