Renting in Vinhomes Smart City

Vinhomes Smart City is a township of about 280 hectares in Tây Mỗ and Đại Mỗ, Nam Từ Liêm, on the west side of Hanoi, with 58 apartment towers and 98 villa plots. Building began in 2018 and most of it was handed over from 2020; it was first announced as VinCity Sportia. Its towers are set around 16.3 hectares of parks, including a central park with a 4.8-hectare lake, and it has its own Vinmec hospital, Vincom mall and Vinschool campus.

Families who want an apartment with parks, a Vinschool and a Vinmec hospital inside the township, and people working on the west side of Hanoi near Thăng Long Boulevard.

Inside Vinhomes Smart City

• Sapphire: The first zone launched, in five parts: Sapphire 1 to Sapphire 4 and Grand Sapphire, with studio to three-bedroom apartments.
• The Metrolines: Three tower groups, The Sakura, The Miami and The Victoria, at the corner of Lê Trọng Tấn and Thăng Long Boulevard.
• The Tonkin: Two apartment towers in an Indochine style, launched in March 2022.
• Imperia Smart City: Towers built by another developer, HBI, on land it bought inside the township.

Schools, health and shopping

• Healthcare: Vinmec Smart City International Hospital at 2A Tây Mỗ, the eighth hospital in the Vinmec group, has 169 beds on nine floors.
• Shopping: Vincom Mega Mall Smart City is inside the township.
• Schools: Vinschool runs campuses inside the township, including a primary school that opened in August 2024. In June 2026 the city allocated a further 6.8 hectares inside the township for schools from kindergarten to high school.
• Parks and water: Three linked parks cover 16.3 hectares: Central Park (10.2 hectares, with a 4.8-hectare lake), Sportia Park, with outdoor gym equipment, and Zen Park, a Japanese garden.

Getting there

• By road, about 16 km to Hoàn Kiếm Lake (20 to 25 minutes) and 31 km to Nội Bài Airport (30 to 35 minutes), with no traffic.
• The township’s Metrolines zone is at the corner of Lê Trọng Tấn and Thăng Long Boulevard.
• The Vietnam Military History Museum, opened in 2024, is opposite the township on Thăng Long Boulevard.

Good to know

• The towers have only one basement level, so the township has separate multi-storey car parks; residents walk or take the internal bus to them.
• Parts of the township were sold to other developers, including Masterise, MIK and CapitaLand, so some towers carry those developers’ own project names.
• Residents come from around 20 countries, according to the developer (2021).
