Renting in Vinhomes Ocean Park 2

Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 – The Empire is a township of 458.9 hectares in Văn Giang, Hưng Yên, launched in April 2022 as the second of Vinhomes’ three Ocean Parks. Most of its homes are villas, townhouses and shophouses, set around the 18-hectare Royal Wave Park, the Empire Park and the Kingdom Avenue boulevard. It is a few kilometres south-east of the first Ocean Park in Gia Lâm, across the provincial line in Hưng Yên, with Ocean Park 3 – The Crown facing it to the north and the Mega Grand World shopping quarter between the two.

Families who want a house or townhouse rather than an apartment, with a Vinschool campus and a Vinmec hospital inside the township and the wave park, the Ocean City mall and Mega Grand World close by.

Inside Vinhomes Ocean Park 2

• Kinh Đô Ánh Sáng (City of Light): The zone around Kingdom Avenue, a pedestrian boulevard of nearly 1 km, and the Empire Square of more than 3 hectares.
• Chà Là: Villas, townhouses and shophouses; the first zone handed over, from September 2022.
• San Hô, Cọ Xanh, Hải Âu and Sao Biển: Villa and townhouse zones; San Hô, Hải Âu and Sao Biển (like Ngọc Trai) share their names with villa zones in the first Ocean Park.
• Đảo Dừa and Ngọc Trai: Two gated villa compounds.

Schools, health and shopping

• Schools: Vinschool Ocean Park 2, opened in August 2024 at more than 40,000 m², the largest in the Vinschool system when it opened, with kindergarten, primary and lower-secondary classes.
• Healthcare: Vinmec Ocean Park 2, an international general hospital, is inside the township.
• Shopping: Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City on San Hô Avenue opened in October 2025: nearly 70,000 m² over three floors, with an AEON supermarket and a CGV cinema. The VinPalace conference centre, with a 1,600-seat theatre, opened alongside it. Mega Grand World, between Ocean Park 2 and Ocean Park 3, is an 18.7-hectare quarter of shops and restaurants opened in December 2023, with a Venice-style canal (The Venice) and a Korean-style street (K-Town).
• Parks and water: The 18-hectare Royal Wave Park, run by VinWonders, has six wave pools and the 9.3-hectare Laguna salt-water lake. There is also the 7.5-hectare Empire Park and Silk Park, a 2.6 km park along a canal.

Getting there

• By road, about 20 km to Hoàn Kiếm Lake (20 to 25 minutes) and 42 km to Nội Bài Airport (40 to 45 minutes), with no traffic.
• Ring Road 3.5, still under construction, runs between Ocean Park 2 and Ocean Park 3 and will reach Hanoi over the new Ngọc Hồi Bridge; the township connects directly to the Hà Nội–Hải Phòng expressway.
• From central Hanoi, drivers cross the Red River by Chương Dương, Vĩnh Tuy or Thanh Trì bridge, then take the Cổ Linh junction and the expressway. The first Ocean Park in Gia Lâm is a short drive north-west.
• VinBus electric buses connect central Hanoi and the first Ocean Park with Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City.

Good to know

• This is not the same place as Vinhomes Ocean Park, which is a few kilometres north-west in Gia Lâm, Hanoi. Listings often just say "Ocean Park", so check which one is meant.
• Zone names San Hô, Hải Âu, Sao Biển and Ngọc Trai are also used in the first Ocean Park, so check the full address on a listing.
• Several aged-care homes operate inside, including a branch of the Diên Hồng nursing home.
