How it works
Tell us about your move
Three short steps, about three minutes.
We contact you to book a call
A concierge contacts you, on the app you prefer, to find a time for a free 20-minute call.
We build your relocation plan
On the call we work out which services you need, in what order, and what each costs.
We get started
Your concierge takes you through the plan step by step. If you only need a home, a leasing agent looks after you from there.
A move is a chain of dates that all have to line up: the old lease ending, the new one starting, the packers, the truck, the flight and the first night in a new bed. When one slips, the rest follow.
Nest arranges your move through a trusted moving partner and keeps it lined up with everything else we are doing for you: the home, the lease and the move-in date. You deal with one person at Nest from the first quote to the last box.
What to tell us for an accurate quote
Movers quote on volume, access and dates. The more of this we know, the closer the quote is to the final bill.
- Where you are moving from and to, with the floor and whether there is a lift
- Roughly how much you are moving: a room, a flat or a whole house
- Anything fragile, valuable or awkward: artwork, pianos, a large fridge
- The dates that cannot move, such as a lease ending or a flight
Before moving day
A few things make the day itself go smoothly, wherever you are moving.
- Book the lift and the parking with the building management ahead of time
- Keep documents, keys, chargers and medicine with you, not in the boxes
- Photograph anything valuable before it is packed
- Agree with your landlord when the keys and the deposit are handed back
