Furniture and Setup: Furnishing an Unfurnished Lease So It Feels Like Home

Found the right home, but it is bare? Nest furnishes rented homes as well as finding them, so the same team can help you turn an empty lease into somewhere you want to live.

Real people, not a call centreMeet Leslie and Claire and the rest of the team. A real person reads every furniture & setup request and gets back to you on the app you prefer, in English or Vietnamese.

How it works

  1. Tell us about your move

Three short steps, about three minutes.

  2. We contact you to book a call

A concierge contacts you, on the app you prefer, to find a time for a free 20-minute call.

  3. We build your relocation plan

On the call we work out which services you need, in what order, and what each costs.

  4. We get started

Your concierge takes you through the plan step by step. If you only need a home, a leasing agent looks after you from there.

An unfurnished home is often the better home: more space, a lower rent, and a landlord happy to sign for longer. The catch is that someone has to fill it, in a city where you do not yet know the shops, the sizes or the delivery rules.

Furniture is part of what Nest does, not an add-on. Our full name is NEST Living Real Estate & Furniture, and the team that finds you a home can help you furnish it, so the sofa fits the room and arrives when you do.

How it works

Tell us about the home and how you live, and we put together a plan and a quote before you commit to anything.

  • Which rooms need furnishing, and what the landlord already provides
  • How you live: children, pets, working from home, how long you expect to stay
  • The style you like and the budget you want to keep to
  • When you move in, so the delivery is planned around it

Furnished, part-furnished or bare

Many homes come furnished, and a furnished home is the right answer for a short stay. For a longer lease, a bare or part-furnished home with your own furniture is often more comfortable and can cost less each month. We can show you both kinds of home and help you weigh them up.

Common questions

Can Nest furnish an apartment I rented somewhere else?
Tell us about the home and what you need, and we will tell you what we can do and quote it before you commit.
Is it better to rent furnished or unfurnished in Vietnam?
Furnished suits a short stay or a first year while you find your feet. For a longer lease, an unfurnished or part-furnished home with your own furniture is often more comfortable and can cost less each month.
