Nest Verified
What Nest Verified means
Every home on Nest has been through the checks below before it goes on the site. When a listing also says ✓ Nest Verified · checked 3 days ago, a person on our team asked the landlord or the building manager three days ago, and they told us the home is free.
A listing that says only ✓ Nest Verified has not been checked in the last 60 days. Ask its agent and they will check it again before your viewing.
What every home passes before it goes on the site
- It is freeA person on our team asks the landlord or the building manager directly. A home that reaches us on a landlord’s list does not go on the site until someone has.
- The rent and bills are the landlord’sEvery cost on the listing is the figure the landlord gave us. Anything we have not been told is marked as still to agree, never guessed.
- The photos match the homeA listing whose photos do not match its bedrooms and bathrooms is not published until someone fixes it.
- A named person looks after itEvery home has a leasing agent on our team, shown on the listing, who arranges your viewing and your lease.
How long a check lasts
Homes are let quickly, so a check goes out of date. We show the date for 60 days, then take it off rather than show you an old one, and our team is prompted to ask the landlord again.
If a home turns out to be taken
Tell your agent. We take it off the site and send you the closest homes we have that are free now. You never pay us a fee: the landlord pays our commission.
